Event Information

This is our second in-person professional development workshop for arbitration practitioners who are Ciarb London Branch Members, and C.Arb or FCIArb. The round-table discussion will feature a variety of practice and procedure scenarios and attendees will be invited to exchange views on approaches and considerations. We look forward to a lively, engaging and informative session during which refreshments will be provided by our hosts BTG Advisory. Space is limited and attendance will be on a first come first served basis. Rules of play apply (see below).

Rules of Play
1. Prior to the event attendees may be invited to submit procedural situations experienced if they wish. The submissions should not include any identifying case names or details as of course confidentiality must be maintained.
2. Chatham House Rules will apply.
3. The Leader of the workshop will choose the situations for discussion. In the time available, it may not be possible to address all submissions.
4. The Leader of the workshop may exercise editorial control to keep the discussion moving along.

Daniel Djanogly

Daniel is a Partner at Begbies Traynor Group (Co-Head, Forensic Services, BTG Advisory). He is an experienced Chartered Arbitrator, expert determiner and forensic accountant (Chartered Accountant) expert witness. Daniel specialises in accounting, financial loss and valuation issues in M&A, shareholder, partnership and other complex commercial disputes. Daniel Djanogly - BTG Advisory.

Clare Ambrose FCIArb
Clare is a barrister and full time arbitrator at 20 Essex with wide ranging experience in commercial arbitration. She is a leading figure in maritime and commodities arbitration with an impressive commercial practice including in ICC, LCIA and SIAC arbitration. Before becoming a full-time arbitrator in 2017 she built up 25 years’ experience of commercial litigation as a barrister with particular expertise in international trade and energy.
As arbitrator she has had over 300 appointments in international arbitrations, sitting as chair, sole and co-arbitrator. Appointments have been made under the rules of the LCIA, ICC, LMAA, SCMA, SIAC, SCC, the Swiss Arbitration Centre and UNCITRAL, and also on an ad hoc basis.
