The Young Members Group of the CIArb London Branch is pleased to host this webinar with Dame Elizabeth Gloster, the Patron of the Branch. The webinar will discuss Dame Elizabeth's distinguished career at the commercial bar, as a Judge in the High Court and the Court of Appeal, and now as an independent arbitrator. The aim of the webinar is to draw on Dame Elizabeth's extensive experience to provide younger practitioners with guidance on developing the right skills to pursue a career in commercial law and arbitration.
Dame Elizabeth Gloster DBE, PC, practised as a commercial and Chancery QC at One Essex Court from 1991 until 2004, before accepting an appointment as a High Court judge, becoming the first woman to be appointed a judge of the Commercial Court.
