Cross Examination Masterclass – Fact Witnesses

The Young Members Group of the Ciarb London Branch is pleased to host this in-person event featuring a masterclass in the cross-examination of fact witnesses.
The 'hearing' will be before an esteemed tribunal consisting of Toby Landau KC (Duxton Hill Chambers), Philippa Charles (Twenty Essex), and Makhdoom Ali Khan (Fazle Ghani).
The cross-examinations will be conducted by Nora Fredstie (DAC Beachcroft) and Shreya Aren (Debevoise & Plimpton) and will demonstrate a variety of advocacy techniques and strategies.
It will be moderated by Elizabeth Montpetit (Taylor Wessing)
Following the cross-examinations, there will be a short discussion amongst the speakers about different advocacy styles and techniques, followed by a Q&A session and networking drinks.
