Event Information

The next Ciarb London Branch Annual Mediation Seminar will be organised in conjunction with CEDR. It will be an opportunity to begin 2024 looking at the future of civil and commercial mediation in England and Wales. Our theme will be "Mediation in a post-Churchill World: 2024 and beyond".

The landmark 2023 Court of Appeal decision in the Churchill case backing court-directed mediation has opened up a new landscape for mediation in England and Wales. In this forward-looking event, co-organised by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (London Branch) and CEDR, Gill Mansfield will be joined by mediators and litigation practitioners to look at the implications of the case on practice in 2024 and further into the future.

We look forward to welcoming you to an evening of lively discussion and practical advice, followed by an opportunity to network with friends and colleagues.
