Ciarb YMG and Taylor Wessing LLP Cross-Examination Workshop
On 25 November 2025, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Young Members Group partnered with Taylor Wessing LLP to host a highly engaging panel and workshop on cross-examination techniques.
The event featured an impressive line-up of speakers, including Nick Storrs of Taylor Wessing, Tom Ford of Essex Court Chambers, and Swati Tripathi of White & Case, with Sophia Louw of Taylor Wessing serving as moderator. The panel shared their experiences of being in the hot seat of cross-examination, offering candid insights into advocacy in practice. Participants were then divided into teams to prepare and deliver their own cross-examinations, which they presented before the panel for feedback.
The evening was attended by over 50 participants, who had the chance to catch-up and network over excellent canapés and a selection of drinks.
