Corruption before Arbitral Tribunals

Posted 21st Apr, 2026

On 15 April 2026 Ciarb London Branch was honoured to receive Professor Gabrielle Kaufmann-Kohler, as our keynote speaker at the Athenaeum club .

The speech which followed our AGM entitled "Corruption before Arbitral Tribunals" sought to explore identifiable trends, and to take stock of where we are at, and consider any new approaches which could assist in dealing with the issue of corruption.

Thought provoking questions put by Sir Christopher Vajda KC,
GRANT JONES, Robert Price, Mikhail Vishnyakov FCIArb and others contributed to ongoing discussions.

Thank you Professor Kaufmann-Kohler.

At the AGM the newly elected committee members were announced as:

Magdalena Prus FCIArb (She/Her)

Julius Nkafu FCIArb

Sir Christopher Vajda KC

George Burn

Natalia Otlinger MCIArb
