On Wednesday, 8th March 2023, the Ciarb London Branch and the Ciarb Headquarters held an in-person International Women's Day event that explored the IWD 2023's theme - "Embrace Equity".
A panel of distinguished speakers - Claire Womersley (partner at HFW), Tracey Fox (mediator), James Clanchy (arbitrator) and Nikki Sharp (adjudicator), reflected on what equity means to them in their various roles and shared their experiences of equity in their professional and personal lives. The panel discussion was moderated by Karina Albers, Chair of Ciarb London Branch. The speakers discussed the steps the ADR community needs to take to further #EmbraceEquity and considered the actions we all can take to truly embed and embrace gender equity. The panel discussion smoothly led to a very lively Q&A session where attendees asked questions and shared their comments.
The event has been co-organised by Tope Adeyemi and Natalia Otlinger (Members of the Ciarb London Branch Committee).
